Single Parent Scholarship board names new officers

The Arkansas County Single Parent Scholarship Fund met to discuss the distribution of scholarships during 2006, conducting a letter writing campaign and the election of officers and board members at noon, Wednesday, Nov. 15 in the Community Room of the Arkansas County Bank in DeWitt."We had 11 scholarship recipients in the spring and 12 recipients in the all of 2006," Carolyn Turner, vice chancellor of PCUAA-DeWitt campus, said.
