Parents can be so controlling

Being a teenager can be a confusing, difficult and emotional stage in our lives. We want to experience new things like having a boyfriend/girlfriend and being independent.  There are so many things out there that influence us in a bad or good way. At college nearly half the population experience problems with there parents for a number of reasons. This could be such things as being overprotected, being too strict or simply because their parents don't want to accept that their little baby is all grown up and has it's own life to live. NowIi know some of the things us teenagers ask for, parents don't want to give, for example getting a car or staying out late. They may say no because for one they can't afford a car and for your own safety but that's no reason to suddenly hate your parents.
